Patti is a veteran performer, finding success in all mediums. She has enjoyed a prolific career in film and television.
Theatergoers have been mesmerized by her talent as well. Her role in "Italian American Reconciliation" garnered her not only the audience's appreciation, but the acclaimed Best Actress Dramalogue Award as well.
Patti has successfully worked in her chosen profession all of her life, doing TV commercials as a child (one ran for years for "Ivory Soap", which, ironically, was shot in the same studio that Patti later worked in when she was on "Guiding Light" during the late 1990s).
She made her film debut at the age of 8 in "Tuesday And Blue Silk", a film about a girl and her cat, which won a Best Short Film award at the New York Film Festival.
Then at 16 Patti appeared in the virtually unknown 1967 film "Erotic Salad", written, directed, and photographed by the NYC "underground" filmmaker Robert Ringenberger, and then the next year in Paul Morrissey's "Flesh" (aka "Andy Warhol's Flesh").
Unlike many Warhol protegees, Patti was able to matriculate to mainstream movies. She endeared herself to middle-America movie fans in the Barbra Streisand/Ryan O'Neal vehicle "The Main Event" (1979) stealing the show as a girl with a hacking (and hilarious) cough.
Other Patti D'Arbanville performances of note include the role of Ken Wahl's lady love on the TV series "Wiseguy", and the redoubtable Cathy Smith in the 1989 John Belushi biopic "Wired".
And more notable performances of Patti's have been in "Father's Day", "The Fan", "Celebrity", "Modern Problems", and a multitude of other films, including the 1975 cult classic "Rancho Deluxe".
Patti accepted a guest-starring role in 2000 on the popular television series, Third Watch. Impressed with her performance, they continued to expand her role as Rose Boscorelli.
Her other television credits include: "The Sopranos" (in 2004, as Lorraine Calluzzo),"Guiding Light" (in the role of Selena Davis from 1998 - 2000), "Another World" (as Christy Carson from 1992 - 1993), "New York Undercover", "Wiseguy", "Crime Story", "My So Called Life", "South Beach", and "Miami Vice". She has also made a myriad of guest-starring appearances elsewhere on television.
Patti is a native New Yorker, originating from Greenwich Village, born on May 25, 1951. Her mother was an artist and her father a bartender.
The greatest role Patti has come to play is that of mother to her four children. She and actor, Don Johnson, share a gorgeous son, Jesse, born in 1982. Jesse is a talented musician, as well as a bright student, graduating from college in 2004 with honors. Patti also shares three beautiful children - Emmelyn, Alexandra and Liam - with firefighter Terry Quinn.
